Rouya takes a nap after moving into her new home in rural Japan, and wakes up in an empty ghost town. Empty, that is, except for the strange creatures, and one bastard English surgeon who's potentially more dangerous than any of them.

I didn't sign up to have feelings when I started reading ;__;
The art in this is great, crisp black & white with some quality hatching. There's also a lot of small details to discover when you take the time to give each panel a closer look. Did I zoom in on Alain's eyelashes at every opportunity? Possibly. Rouya is adorable and what more do you need in a horror comic than a cute girl and a man with questionable morals and nice legs?
The creatures in this were neat and had some cool thematic stuff™ going on that leads up to a nicely executed "Now everything makes sense" moment, which makes for a fun reread as well.
I am definitely hoping that you will make more one-shots like this :>
